Studying in China is a great adventure — and a mountain of practical questions. Which university? What documents? How do scholarships actually work, and what is dorm life really like? Our student WeChat groups connect current and future international students so you can get answers from people who are already there.
What the student groups cover
- Admissions: choosing a university, application documents, deadlines, and agents — what’s worth paying for and what isn’t.
- Scholarships: CSC and university scholarships, what they include, and how to improve your chances.
- Student life: dorms, campus rules, part-time options, internships, and travel during holidays.
- Language study: HSK preparation, language partners, and study tips.

Tips for new students
- Verify agents through the group before paying anyone for “guaranteed admission”.
- Sort out your visa and registration early — deadlines matter in China.
- Learn basic Chinese before arrival — even HSK 1–2 makes daily life much easier.
- Ask before you buy: phones, SIM cards, bank accounts — the group knows the current rules.
